Girls Night Out is a shopping experience like no other. Shop from a range of emerging designers and accessories, sip a range of beautiful Australian wines, sample a range of beauty products and services, and score a deluxe goody bag on entry. It is the perfect excuse for a night out with the girls!
Where are my tickets? Tickets purchased online - All tickets are held at the door under the ticket buyer's name only. We never mail tickets before the event. Your name will be on the door list and we strongly recommend that you print and bring along your receipt/invoice as proof of purchase for your tickets and for ease of registration when entering the event. Please bring photo ID to prove identification. Ticket purchsed through Ticketek - Tickets purchased through Ticketek should be sent to the buyer (unless you purchased the e-ticket option). Please bring these tickets to the event. Your name will also be on the door list. How do I buy tickets for Girls Night Out? Tickets can be ordered through our secure website at any time. Tickets can be purchased online with or without a Paypal account. General Admission tickets can be bought at the door on the night of the event but are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. We strongly suggest buying ahead of time to ensure your entry to the event and to secure your Deluxe Goody Bag. Tickets can also be purchased through Ticketek, however additional charges do apply...you are better off purchasing online. Should I get cash out for the event? Yes, yes, yes! There are likely to be big lines for ATM facilities so Events & the City strongly advises getting cash out prior to the event. How much???? Well that is up to you... many people spend around $200 at Girls Night Out as many of the items for sale are unique, one off and/or Australian made. What time will the male review act and the fashion parades occur? These details will be put on the website just prior to the event, and may be emailed out to you in a confirmation email a few days prior to the event if you have booked through the Girls Night Out website. If you attend the event between 5:30-8pm you are likely to see all the main acts that the event has to offer. Is the Events & the City Girls Night Out website secure? Yes, the site is secure for you to use. What if I do not feel comfortable purchasing tickets over the internet? If you do not feel comfortable placing your order online, perhaps a friend can purchase tickets online on your behalf. We strongly recommend you purchase your tickets online, but if you have issues with doing so, feel free to purchase your tickets through Ticketek. Can I pay cash for the tickets? Cash purchases can be made at the door only. We strongly recommend you pre-purchase your tickets online to avoid missing out. Can I add tickets to my order? Once you purchase your tickets, we are unable to “add on” to the order. You can, however, purchase additional tickets via the website. Can you reserve my spot without payment? No, this option is not available. What if I can’t make the event but I want a friend to go in my place? If you can’t make the event and do not want someone to come in your place, unfortunately, we cannot refund your ticket. If you wish for someone to take your place, provide this person with a copy of your receipt as emailed to you, a signed piece of paper or email (with your full name on it) stating that it is ok to have them take your place and have them bring it to the event. Can we get a discount for group tickets? Unfortunately no. There are no discounts of any kind. Events & the City operates on a flat rate pricing system, with the ticket price being the lowest it can possibly be to cover event costs whilst maintaining a fun positive event. My friend is showing up before me and I bought the tickets, what do we do? Please provide your friend with a copy of your receipt as emailed to you, a signed piece of paper, a mobile phone number or some other form of proof that they are attending the event with you. Your friend will then be allowed access to the event before you. You will still need to register at the entrance of the event also. I didn’t make it to the event. Can I have a refund? Sorry, tickets are non-refundable. This is our strict policy. Whilst Events & the City tries to make Girls Night Out as enjoyable as possible, we understand that a small minority of people are always not going to not what girls night out is all about. Our feedback surveys show that majority of people love Girls Night Out and we will always strive to make sure the event continues to be enjoyable for it's fans. There are no refunds available for Girls Night Out unfortunately. I couldn’t attend the event, what can I do about getting my Deluxe Goody Bag? Unfortunately, you must be present at the event to receive your Deluxe Goody Bag. We do not ship bags after the event. If you cannot make it to the event, transfer your ticket(s) to a friend, so they can attend the event and get a Deluxe Goody Bag. What is in the Goody Bag? There is a wide variety of beauty products, samples, munchies and gift vouchers in the Goodie Bag… believe me… you are going to love it! Keep in mind that not all Goody Bags contain the same contents! What do I need to bring to the event? A state-issued photo ID is required for entry. We also highly advise bringing your ticket invoice or Ticketek ticket along with you. Can I bring my child to the event? No, it is not suitable to have young children at the event. All event attendees must be 18 years of age or older, and there are no exceptions to this. Can I leave and re-enter the event? Yes, you will receive a wristband/identification that allows you to leave and return to the event. This wristband/identification is non-transferable. Is there a coat/luggage check at the event? Not at this stage unfortunately. There may be allocated areas where you can leave bags and coats but these areas will not have stong security and Events & the City will not be liable for lost or stolen items. Is there parking at the event? Parking varies for each city. For Girls Night Out-Brisbane, street parking is available along Bowen Bridge Rd next to the Am I allowed to have the best night ever? Yes, you are allowed to have the time of your life. Try not to harass the male revue men too much but this is not a rule. What should I wear? Whatever makes you feel fabulous! Don't shy off from wearing your favourite heals and cocktail dress... you only live once. Can I bring my boyfriend or male friend? Yes you can, however he will be trapped in a sea of females and may not feel comfortable. If possible, Events & the City strongly reccomends heading to Girls Night Out with your girlfriend/s instead. Are groups of men allowed to attend? Your motives will be questioned at the entrance of the event if you purchase tickets for a group of men. It is likely that you will not be granted entry. Girls Night Out is an event which aims to provide a unique experience for females, allowing them to indulge in all things feminine and leave their inhibitions behind. Men who plan to take advantage of the environment which Girls Night Out provides for their own personal gain, will be asked to leave without refund at reception. |
